When it comes to playing poker, every player begins with certain tells. The expert players often learn quickly that being able to hide these tells when it comes to poker is an effective way to increase your success as well as increasing the amount that can be won while playing the game. Through these methods, you are able to hide your tells – and learn what the tells are that you should pay attention to. This can increase your chances of winning while playing, quite substantially.

First, pay attention to your body language. While playing the game, scrutinize your body language as you would another player. Use this information to determine the changes that need to be made in your body language and behavior to increase the chances that you have of winning while playing.

Learn the times of strength and the times of weakness while playing with other opponents in the game. Pay attention to the cards that are shown and analyze how the player acts when they win, as well as when they lose. These times can be an effective way to determine the strength of the hand of the player, as well as an effective way to determine the choices that you should make while playing with the opponent in the future.

When it comes to playing poker, being a great player comes with the ability to be able to read the opponents faces, and movements through their body. These behaviors are often referred to as ‘tells’ and are an important part of learning the game of poker to be able to determine the bets that are going to be made on the behavior of the other players within the game.

Here are some of the common poker tells that you can know about when it comes to playing poker:

Watch out for players with trembling hands. Although most beginners would associated trembling hands with being nervous about a bad hand, trembling hands can also often be associated with players being excited about the prospects of a stellar hand. Look out for this sign with players that are making changes in their betting patterns.

In the case that players are making changes within their betting patterns, one should take notice. Changes that are made in the betting patterns can mean that a player has a hand they are willing to play, especially if the player has been known to be a cautious player throughout the rest of the game.

Pay attention to the attention that players pay to their cards. Does the player repeatedly look to the cards to compare the cards which are on the table? The player may be trying to match a pair within the table, triple cards or even trying to match various flushes or straights in the case they are unable to remember the cards which are in the ‘pocket’.
